The Full Story

Don Hall's Guesthouse, in Depth

Permanently closed.

Don Hall's Guesthouse was a hotel and conference center on Fort Wayne's north side, at 1313 W Washington Center Rd, that paired an on-site restaurant, the Guesthouse Grill, with banquet, catering, and live-music event space. It was part of the Don Hall's family of Fort Wayne restaurants, a locally known, steakhouse-style group whose other rooms included Hall's Hollywood. The Guesthouse closed permanently on March 27, 2020, with the Hall family citing the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on the travel, catering, banquet, and live-music industries. The closure affected about 65 employees. In December 2020, YWCA Northeast Indiana purchased the former hotel and conference center property and converted it into office space and an addiction-recovery program facility.
